What Do You Want? | Tim Conway
The Granted Ministries Conference 2008 was themed “The Majesty of the Gospel of Christ,” and all the messages gave a very theological presentation of the person and work of Christ. For this reason, “What Do You Want?” came as a fitting end to conference. In this sermon, Tim Conway exhorts us to live out the reality to which Christians are called, instead of contenting ourselves with just being around the things of God or knowing doctrine. As he says, “We need more than doctrine and propositions. We need the reality of it.” If there is not a love for the Lord, which also reaches out to others as He did, then all of our doctrine is futile; we have missed the point (Revelation 2:2-4). And if we are not seeing the glory of the Lord in all of our “religious” activities, we should not be comfortable. Sermons such as these are a must for those who find themselves caught up in learning without living.
